Wedding Song Choices

While going through wedding songs and wanting to change the first song that my “soon to husband” =) and I will be dancing too, I took a break to create and add a few items to my Zazzle shop.

I created two fantasy art postage stamps which need to be approved before they will post and two fantasy art buttons.

The first button is of my original acrylic painting image “Pink Petunia” and the second is of “Lady Red.” Both buttons can be customized to be small or you can choose all the way up to colossal and can be either square or circle. Personalize to fit your style.

My New ArtFire Shop - Originals, Prints, ACEO Cards for Sale.

I finally opened an ArtFire.com shop. As of today I only have two original paintings in it and one fine art print, but this is a start.

For about a year now, I have noticed many artist join ArtFire to sell their art and a few told me to try it out. So finally I decided to open one.

ArtFire.com has a basic membership which is for free. I joined this free membership to try out the shop and later can decide if I want to upgrade to the verified membership.

I recommend trying this site out. The more places your art is shown on different sites, the better.

New Fairy Portrait Painting Finished - Big Blue Eyes and Butterflies!

I finished another fairy painting last night. I am going to do a series of fairies that are up close in the image. I want these paintings to look like fairy portraits.

Each portrait is of a fairy character and the painting will entitle their names. The portraits are done in acrylic paint on 8.5" x 11" high quality textured watercolor card stock paper. The paper has a canvas texture and looks great in any standard frame.

Name that Fairy Painting Contest - Purple Flowers and Big Eyes!

Thanks for all the great titles so far for my new painting shown below. Lets keep them coming in. I will pick the winner soon and post it.

Also I discovered and joined the fantasy community of Enchanted Folks. This site is sort of like Myspace but for fantasy lovers, believers, writers, and artists. It is a great place to connect, show off your art, and to learn abut events that are happening. To view my profile and to join click here

Art Contest- New Purple Flower Fairy Acrylic Painting!

I just finished this fairy painting last night that I have been working on. I am so happy with how the painting turned out, but I am at a lost for the title.

Usually the title of the painting is known before I even finish the piece, but for this one I have decided to let YOU name my painting.

All you have to do is post the desired title in the comment section. I will pick 3 titles when we have enough and then I will choose the winner from those three. I will probably do a vote or something fun like that. The winner will be announced on my blog.

The painting is 12" x 12" on wood and is painted in acrylic paint.
