I finished another painting. I was in a darker kind of mood and that is where I got my inspiration. Summer is over and the weather is getting colder and more gloomy. Hope you enjoy.

New Painting
Lady Red
Acrylic on 300 lb. paper

I just finished this new painting. I decided to do a set of smaller images and then frame them. This one came out looking great and fits the frame perfectly. I plan on doing more in the colors of blue, green, and yellow.

Hand Painted Wooden Block with Black Widow Spider

This week, I have been working on a few different art projects that are very exciting and new to my collection and artist portfolio.

First off, I am working on a series of paintings that are hand painted on tiny wooden blocks. My first wood block art piece is shown in the image below. The little folk art painting features a black widow spider with red marks on his back and long petite legs. White spider webs are attached to brown tree branches in the background. Each art piece will be small and measure about 3 x 3 inches. All are spray varnished to protect from earthly elements and for long lasting.

My second project is too create fine art prints from each original painting I create. I am always creating and painting new art pieces, so I figured "why not create art prints out of each piece." Currently I am producing these fine art prints from my home printer and they are coming out amazing. I am so impressed at how crisp, clear, and vibrant the colors are. Each print is done with archival inks on archival photo paper to prvent yellowing and for long lasting results.

Third, I am trying to produce art cards from each original paintings, greeting cards, as well as some merchandise with my fantasy artwork on it. I am looking at different licensing companies for each of these. Any further updates, I will mention as they come about.

Lastly, I am selling my arts and crafts on Etsy and on ebay auctions as well as submitting my artwork to art galleries, art events, and future festivals. I am one busy little artist.

As always thanks for viewing my blog.
